Why Nobody Can See What You Do

A free 45-minute session for experienced professionals who are good at their job and keep getting overlooked.

Most people who are stuck aren’t short of ability. They’re short of language. They’ve done the work, but when it comes to saying what that work was worth, it comes out as a job description instead of a reason to hire them. Employers can’t see it, so it doesn’t count.

This session is about fixing that.

What we cover

  • The three reasons capable people get passed over — and why none of them is experience
  • The shift from “I’ve done a bit of everything” to a sentence that lands
  • How to turn what you did into what changed because of you
  • Live examples from people who’ve made the move

Who it’s for

  • You’re changing direction and can’t explain the move
  • You keep reaching final interviews and not getting the offer
  • You’re underpaid for what you actually do
  • You’re coming back after a break or a redundancy

Next session

Tuesday 20 October, 12:00–12:45
Online. Cameras optional. Bring something to write with.

Places are capped at 20 so there’s room for questions. Put your name down below and I’ll confirm by email. I read every application and build the session around what people ask for — so the last question matters.

One session a month. If this one fills, you’ll be first in line for the next.
